YouWork LLC ("YouWork", "we", "us", or "our") operates the youwork.pro website and the YouWork software platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and business name when you register.
• Billing information — payment card details and billing address. Card data is processed and stored by Stripe, Inc.; we never store raw card numbers.
• Business data — jobs, estimates, invoices, customer records, photos, and other content you create or upload inside the platform. This data belongs to you.
• Communications — messages you send us via the contact form, email, or support channels.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration, and error events.
• Device & browser data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and referring URL.
• Cookies & similar technologies — see Section 6.

Information from third parties

• Stripe — payment status and fraud signals related to your transactions.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Send transactional emails — account confirmations, invoices, password resets, and product notifications.
• Respond to your support requests and contact form submissions.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.
• Send marketing emails and newsletters via Mailchimp, where you have opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

We do not use your business data (jobs, customers, estimates) for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

3. How we share your information

Service providers

We share information with trusted vendors who help us operate the Service, including:

• Payment processing — Stripe, Inc.
• Email delivery & marketing — Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.)
• Hosting & infrastructure — InMotion Hosting
• Analytics — Google Analytics (Google LLC) and Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.)

These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of YouWork, our users, or the public.

Business transfers

If YouWork is acquired, merges with another company, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is deleted from production systems. Backups may persist for up to 30 additional days.

We may retain certain information longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, and access controls limiting who can reach production data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously and will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach.

6. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Essential operation — keeping you logged in and maintaining your session.
• Analytics — Google Analytics sets cookies to measure traffic, page views, and user behavior on this site. Data is aggregated and anonymized. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Advertising — Meta Pixel tracks visits and conversions to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Meta platforms. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information. YouWork does not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights. To submit a request, contact privacy@youwork.pro.

European residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing your personal information is contract performance (to provide the Service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (to improve the platform and prevent fraud). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To contact our data protection contact, email privacy@youwork.pro.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for use by adults operating businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or by a notice in the platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
